'with a sawed-off .410 on my lap'

This display was part of a group show at Mana Contemporary, Jersey City in the BSMT exhibition area entitled, "BSMT CROP." Kyle's subject at this moment was the American Cowboy (or myth of,) and the idea of loneliness, wandering, and finding one's self-purpose. These works were being created months before the show was conceived and right up until time to set it up. Towards the time of the show, Kyle had been working on transitioning from the cowboy subject and into his now regular subject of the cheetahs**. Using this show as much as a showcase of the works made while exploring this subject as well as a temporary farewell to it at the same time.

**on-going since 2019 now mixing in elements of past subject matters with the cheetah. (3/21)**

This show was on display from 9/15-10/31/19.
